GUARDD — Public Disclosure Library

Report a data issue

If a figure, date, name, or status in this library does not match the issuer’s filing on SEC EDGAR, report it. Every report is checked against the source filing.

What happens next

  1. GUARDD re-reads the cited source filing on EDGAR.
  2. If the record does not match the filing, the record is corrected. The correction is entered in that record’s append-only corrections log with the date, field, prior value, new value, and reason.
  3. The corrected record is published as a new version. The prior version is retained immutably and remains reachable from the record’s version history, so a person who relied on the earlier information can still retrieve exactly what was published on that date.
  4. If the record matches the filing, no change is made; a disagreement with the issuer’s own filed figures is not corrected here. GUARDD does not edit, withhold, or suppress adverse issuer information.
